Jews’ Court BookshopNew Lincolnshire books, second-hand books and postcards![]() The Bookshop was established in 1988 with the prime aim of marketing SLHA publications and books on Lincolnshire’s heritage, hence the trade name 'Lincolnshire Heritage Ltd'. By the mid 1990s a second-hand section had been added with all the books donated by members and friends. Both new and second-hand sections have been expanded so that the 'Wagstaffe Room' stocks new books on Lincolnshire history and archaeology, family and local history and a large selection of Shire publications. ![]() Miss Thora Wagstaffe did much to develop the shop and with her father before the shop was established ran the regular bookstall at meetings and conferences. The 'Don Dowson' Room is well stocked with second hand books on all topics as well as maps, journals and booklets. Don initiated the second-hand section and saw it grow into a separate part of the establishment. The postcard collection includes new cards on Lincoln and district as well as used ones with a wide range of locations.
